 1)  FIRST, "TEST THE TASTE"!

During the last festive season, I bought  an assortment of cakes, pastries and kept the boxes in the fridge. My friend, 4-5 years senior to me, came to visit me in the early evening. I knew he has difficulties controlling his sugar level. To be on safer side, I kept the small box in front of him, took one piece and gave one piece to him. After some talk, he went for the second piece. So far no problem. We talked about his sugar problem. But thereafter, he was beyond my control. He was senior to me and took advantage of my soft nature. Being a close friend, he did not think twice before asking me to give another box to take home. I obliged.

         The next morning, his wife phoned and told about her husband's hospitalisation due to the sugar problem. The way she questioned me about the previous evening, had a bitter taste. Not sweet! 😂 I also suspected a pinch of salt in it! Towards the evening, his daughter who was with him in the hospital, took the phone. She questioned me about the episode and had a sour taste in it. Some of her words left an acidic taste in my mouth. It smelt like a police inquiry!

          Our mutual friend called in the late evening. His talk had a pungent smell and also taste.

          After two days, my friend recovered. I had to narrate the story to some of the office staff.  All that talk had a fragrant smell but  charcoal taste!

A hint: - It is better to test the taste of a friend before he or she exhibits his or her taste. If not, even a sweet taste has to undergo many tests!  😂 😂

Sugar is not always sweet! and all sweet things need not have sugar in them! 😂  😂

2) SPELLING

 A lady school teacher noticed that one of her students was not talkative. He hardly spoke or mixed with his classmates.  She told one of his friends to write-

        YOU ARE ALOOF.

on the black- board, in bold letters, to impress him or to give him an indication or suggestion to improve! 

         So far so good! 

         But when the Madame entered the classroom after the lunch hour, she was not ready for the shock to read

       YOU ARE A FOOL 

with just the shuffling of the same letters!

           All teachers of English to please note!   😂  😂

      SPELLING-WISE, FOOLS ARE WISER AND NOT MISER!  😂  😂
